After getting a request from Kawaii-Jeans on asking for a picture of Batgirl, I thought it would be fun to do all the Batgirls. The only one missing is 1967's Batgirl from the campy television show Batman created by William Dozier. I decided to try an art style from Taiyo no Puromia, and in fact many of the poses are from poster of the anime. You can see the full version below:
Picture here is Barbara Gordon, created by Garner Fox and Carmine Infantino.
All characters are owned by DC Comics and Warner Brothers Entertainment.
Nope. I'm not really a fan of Superheroes in street clothes. It sort of takes away the fun factor to them, and really that's what comics in both companies have been doing for over 10 years now. They want to stripe away any of the camp or fun from their books to make them "real" and "gritty". WELL I'm tired of it. I happen to like some of the silliness that came with comics. I'm not saying to go back to the full-out camp era of the 50s but I like a balance of fun and adventure.
But her outfit is actually really nice, but if you say so. The current run on Batgirl is very fun. With who I can confidently say is DC's best artist. Have you been enjoying Batgirl ever since the New team came?
