Mulan isn't a Princess, but Disney counts her (probably cause they wanted an asian on the list so they didn't look racist, lol). SO I thought it would be funny if she became a princess through... royal merging? lol... anyway.
I know, it's really badly drawn.... but I got tired of it staring at me on my desktop. So I colored it in quickly and decided to post it. It's...eh.... but oh well. This is what you get when you make a doodle a picture.
Mulan and Jasmine are characters from Disney. I do not own them.
the DP lineup is not based on who's a princess or not. to be in the lineup, you just need to sing and be from a popular movie. why do you think kida and eilonwy aren't included? their movies weren't famous and they don't sing. simple as that. anyway, pocahontas isn't a princess either, she's just the daughter of a chief, that doesn't make her a real princess. that just makes her the daughter of the most important men in the village. if that's the case, mulan would be a real princess too, cause fa zhou is the most respected general off all china.
And also since Mulan received a grace of Honor from the country's Royal(The Emperor), which made her the only female in her country to do so. Which also put her importance above every other female in the country.(Which basically is what a princess is)
i hade a fan fic idea were Jazz and Al r just bffs and Mulan comes to Agraba as a gard for a diplomatic mishen. much plot and anicks later and it winds up like this pic lol awsome to see this pairing outside of my mined. ^_^
I think it's very well done....adds to the spontaneous nature of it all...sometimes the initial draft turns out the best. Lol...technically this doesn't make Mulan a princess though, no more than Aladdin being Jasmine's boyfriend made him a prince. Like the art though
I color in my Disney pictures with a softer brushes than my anime ones. That's probably why it looks smoother. I usually also have the outlines a darker color of the colored area its around also, instead of black (Example: [link] ). On this one I just was too lazy to go through all that, so I left all the lines black. I like messing around with the Disney style, although I don't think I'm all that great at it. I had more success with the Bruce Timm style, I think. Oh well practice is what I need.
