I miss Phantasy Star Universe sometimes by Glee-chan I miss Phantasy Star Universe sometimes by Glee-chan
One of the reason I created a deviantArt account was because of Phantasy Star Universe.  See I had made a good number of friends (PSU is where I met Ban-Re) and somewhere along the line they learned I liked to draw pictures.  At first I'd send them picture though email, or upload something on stupid Photobucket then link everyone that way.  But it got to be tedious.  Then I found out about deviantArt.  It was easier to just give everyone ONE link ONE time and let them check it whenever I said I put something new up.  And THAT's how my story on this website began.  Of course things changed and I stopped playing PSU, but my account here remained.

Picture here is my character on PSU.  I'll give one guess what my name was, lol.  My favorite part of the game was buying outfits and getting items to decorate my room.  But with all of that, this was my go-to outfit:  Phanis Tunic, Classica Shorts, and BomBom Boots.  (I still remember the freaking names!)  The first thing I bought in the game was the Hair-Bow hairstyle.  When my character was at my peak, I had my room decorated like a japanese bathhouse, lol.  >.<.

Phantasy Star Universe was a MMORPG created by Takeo Miyoshi and Satoshi Sakai for Sega's Sonic Team.

I need to remember to play these games on Genesis.  lol  Nice artwork!

If you own a ps3 you can get the Sega Gamepack which includes all four of the original Genesis titles along with like 874623 other games. The 2nd and the 4th are arguably the best rpgs on the system.

I'll probably download roms.  I really disagree with the idea of paying for downloads.  I'd rather buy to own forever.  I think I've been proven right on this since certain classic games have been pulled off their servers.  This has been made a lot easier thanks to HFMI ports on modern computers.  I can just plug it right into my TV.

That works too. I dislike pc gaming for my own reasons, but to each their own. I consider the 2nd and 4th to be mandatory turn based rpg games. The first one is good, but you can really feel the age, the third one is significantly worse in quality and I don't know what they were thinking.

I had a lot of fun with those games! I wish I had the computer hardware to play them again... *smiles* Your girl is very cute. I had a short, mouthy girl with a really big cyber-sword... Can't remember what she wore, though.

Glee used double daggers mostly, but sometimes used the boomerang things (I forget the names... I remember the clothes but not the weapons... I'm such a girl >.<) and a pistol.  Among my friends I was the lowest level, mainly because I only did missions when I wanted items.  Most of the time I sat around in lobbies and rooms talking to Ban-Re about Star Trek Voyager. lmfao.  BUT even though I was the lowest level I hardly ever died.  Everyone thought it was crazy because I didn't run from danger and let them fight everything, I stuck around, but I ducked and weaved so much I sorta became an expert.  Attack, withdraw, attack withdraw.  Most of them jumped into the horde and stayed there while they fought, which I always thought was stupid.  One girl really didn't like me because I was sorta popular among our group, but I rarely quested.  So they'd stick around with me when she needed people to back her up, lol >.<  BUT she couldn't openly say she disliked me cause everyone else thought I was cool.
Fuck... I'm telling you my life's story!   Sorry about that.

*laughs* Don't apologize! It's quite alright. I don't mind hearing about that kind of thing. ^_^ I have a few fun MMO stories myself.

Also, that is a good attack strategy. You sound like you'd make a very good thief player. It takes brains to play a thief... you've got to be strategic and smart.

I have fond memories of weekend mornings back in the early 1990's, when I'd wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and to the sound of my husband playing Phantasy Star II on the Sega Genesis.

My ringtone?…

God, I miss him.

I love Step Up! You miss, are my favourite person of the day. it's my favourite song from my favourite game. It is a really infectious piece of cheesy pop music, extremely simple in its 8 bit glory. I took the time to learn it on piano.
